If you don’t know what type of online business to start but you know you love being a mom then maybe a mommy blog is your answer!
I have a friend who is tired of the rat race. She wants to start an online business so she can work from home and be available for her child. When we were chatting, she said there isn’t anything that she is interested in except for being a mom. Well let me tell you…there are tons of mom blogs and you are a single mom so you will have an even more unique perspective.
Mommy blogs are everywhere and you can decide what type of mommy blog you want to have. You can do a general one where you talk about family things. A blog with a focus from a single mother is another option. A website that incorporates all types of aspects (food, lifestyle, clothing etc) from the perspective of a family or maybe you want to do a perspective on babies or older children. You can do a mommy blog where you recommend products for kids and families. At holiday times you can incorporate gift guide ideas.
There is literally an endless possibility of mommy blogs that you can set up.
You can take a different spin and do a mom blog with a focus on food- foods your toddler will eat, making homemade food for your baby etc. A blog with a focus on older children is another option you can consider. Couponing and saving money are typically something new families look at. There isn’t a shortage of sites for saving money, but they are typically national sites. You could make one where it’s local to your area. How about a site that lists activities and things going on within an hour or two of your town, one central location people can go to check what is going on and plan their weekends.
If you are a fashionable mom, then you can do a blog focused on managing to be fashionable and look your best while having children. If you are the person always doling out advice then your forte may be inspiration or motivation. A self-help site may be right up your alley. If you have more than 1 child and tips on parenting then maybe a parenting blog is right up your alley.
